I'm okay

I have a 1cm 'spot' that only shows up on one view of the breast. 

I was certainly put through the ringer this morning, though.  The tech took three x-rays had me wait, then came back and took another one.  Then I went in for an ultrasound----she took forever to take a bunch of pictures; then I waited while she showed the doctor...then she came in and did more ultrasound pictures----more waiting while the doctor looked.  Another boob smoosh picture and I was finally told to go home and come back in six months.

Apparently this 'spot' is more dense than the rest of my breast tissue; but since it only shows up when I'm in a certain position it is not cancerous.

Kenny D. on our first date back in December 1979.  I was 15---and we dated for over a year.  He became friends with my brothers and even after we broke up he was still part of my life.  But since life goes on---I haven't seen him or heard from him in a very long time.

Today is "No Housework Day." Tell us: What's your least favorite chore around the house?

Scrubbing the shower/tub or dusting.  Probably scrubbing the shower.  Don't like doing it.  I would rather go outside and mow the lawn than stay inside and scrub the shower.

• Not enough sleep makes me a very crabby person
• The clutter bug seems to have taken residence in my office.  I was hoping we'd left him at the old house.
• Did I mention I'm sleepy?
• Snow---in Alabama---in April.  What happened to Global Warming?
• My father brought me news of my ex---I won't feel comfortable going to Memphis, TN for a long time.
• PMS keeps getting worse
• I miss my wisteria bush---I bet it was gorgeous this spring.

 

Totally Terrific Things on Tuesday

• I have a job--which many in today's economy can't say
• Anticipating a tax refund for the first time since 1997
• The landscaping at the new house is in partial bloom.  I can't wait to see what the rest of it will do as Spring creeps across the land.
• Seeing the Blue Angels this past weekend was awesome
• My sil is expecting a boy.
• My internet friends are wonderful
